Meri & Associates

Meri & Associates was founded in 1994 by Meri K. Pohutsky to provide quality writing, visioning, and fund development consulting services for non-profit excellence. As a former chief executive for non-profits, she saw the need for a variety of short-term, critical services beyond the scope, area of expertise, financial or time constraints of many non-profits. Her background includes more than 20 years of non-profit leadership; 30 years reviewing grants for local, state, and federal governmental bodies; and volunteer service, often in leadership positions, in the governance of community-based, regional, and national charities. She is nationally recognized for her work with runaways, the homeless, and the prevention of child abuse and neglect, and a frequent presenter at state and national conferences on these topics as well as on grantwriting. She spent more than six years with Goodwill Industries International as their primary grantwriter and trainer for more than 160 Goodwill affiliates on fund development topics.
